Dear Ms. Walker,

Our thanks to the Hoppers Crossing Apex Club for your generous gift to The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation.

Community generosity makes the dream of a healthier future for our children a reality. The Foundation's role is to direct this generosity to where it is most needed, and to support the world-class standard of health care the hospital provides.

Gifts such as yours have a life-giving impact on paediatric care here in Victoria, throughout Australia and worldwide. Donations support important projects and initiatives in line with the hospital's priorities in the areas of research, leadership and training, technology and equipment, and patient and family centred care. Your support helps the Foundation ensure that the hospital is well placed for continuous improvement, able to develop ever-better paediatric health care and add to the medical knowledge base worlwide.

We call this 'transformational' - with your help, the hospital is delivering the best possible treatments and care, and our patients make the most important transformation of all. Benefitting from the worl class expertise and experience that you have helped to provide, they are nutured back to health.

Thank you for choosing to support The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation, and for making a difference.

Yours sincerley,

Sue Hunt

Dear Adrian

On behalf of our service users, board, volunteers and staff, I would like to thank all members of your club for your ongoing support and generosity offered to our agency. Some of the $10,000 donation from your Christmas tree project has already been utilized at the agency in the form of the purchase and laying of new carpet in our reception area. After the wonderful job you and fellow Apex members performed over the weekend painting out our reception, it became even more obvious that new carpet was required to make the room look fresh and new.

Some of the funds have also been utilized in purchasing food vouchers to tide us over in the new financial year as we do not receive funding until late July. Today, 30 June, we have already received requests for 90 food vouchers. Service users know that we give out vouchers again from 1 July. I am also forwarding some data we collect from our ER statistics. We will compile the full 12 months of data early in July which I will forward on to you.

Without support from Hoppers Crossing Apex and other local community groups, we would not be able to perform the work we undertake. We are humbled by and are grateful for your support.

Warm Wishes
